The Honourable Trevor Olsson
Appointed a Master of the Supreme Court of South Australia, May 1963. Appointed
Deputy President of the South Australian Industrial Court and Commission in March
1969 and then elevated to President of the Industrial Court and Commission in
October 1975. (Whilst holding office in the industrial jurisdiction was responsible
for the introduction of modern word processing and basic computer facilities within
the Court and Commission, as well as the initial development of Stenotype Court
reporting.) Appointed puisne Judge of the Supreme Court of South Australia on
28 June 1984. Retired 31 July 2001. Appointed Auxiliary Judge of Supreme Court
in October 2001.

maintenance of computerised precedents for use of the judiciary.

- Chairman, Courts Precinct Advisory Committee, Courts Administration Authority.
- A Past President of the Australian Institute of Judicial Administration,
with particular interest in its activities related to information technology
aspects.
Since Retirement
- Honorary Consultant to E-business Transformation Branch of the CAA, working
with the team developing e-filing and related strategies.
- Member, Council of Chief Justices Working Party related to authentication
and legal XML aspects.
