Biographical details - Megan Greenwood


Megan was appointed Registrar of the Land and Environment Court in August 2000, taking up her position in October 2000. She was previously Criminal Listing Director and Registry Manager at the District Court of NSW for nearly three years where she managed the listing of District Court matters throughout NSW and the client service operations at Sydney. Megan has an interest in the application of technology to achieve procedural improvement and while at the District Court she worked with judicial officers and the legal profession to establish the first full technology trial courtroom in NSW.


Prior to her role at the District Court Megan worked in various management, policy and strategic roles at the NSW and Victorian Attorney General’s Departments since 1982.


She has a BA, MBA and was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in June 2000 having undertaken her legal studies through the Legal Practitioner’s Admission Board.
