This workshop was organised by the AIJA Education Committee to provide an opportunity for information in relation to current practice is discussed by representatives of those courts which are involved in handling family violence applications. The intention was that this information would then be collated so as to provide the basis for a larger seminar.

It is proposed that the results of the workshop will be used to inform a more general conference on the topic which will be held early in 2006. Further details will be advised on this website as planning progresses.
