The 2nd AIJA Magistrates' Conference is being organised in conjunction with the Council of Chief Magistrates of Australia and will be held in Brisbane on 13-14 September 2002. The programme will focus on current topics of relevance to the work of the magistracy. Attendance at the conference is open to magistrates from all Australian jurisdictions and equivalent positions in overseas countries.
